My background

I have completed a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, graduate study in Education, and a CELTA certification program which is considered the highest qualification for teaching English.I also have decades of experience in corporate communications for leading global companies like Microsoft and Alaska Airlines. Accordingly, I am able to teach adults how to communicate with clarity and professionalism in interviews and at work.

My teaching style

My English classes are customized to the learning style of each student. We discuss the topics that interest them, whether that is work or their personal interests, such as travel, art, or music. I help them develop an English-speaking style that is natural and appropriate for the environment in which they live, work, or study.My teaching style is professional and focused, but also light-hearted, encouraging, and warm. This is because I believe that learning English with a teacher should be a positive experience.

Our first meeting is free

Your first session with me is free. During that session, we will cover three things: First, we will discuss your goals. Second, I will assess your current speaking and writing abilities in English. Third, we will work together to develop a plan to achieve your goals.
